During my very first expedition to the Arctic Ocean, on board this ship, I completely fell in love with the landscape. I spent sleepless nights standing on the deck, mesmerized by the view and by the ever-changing sea ice. I felt connected to this environment, which may disappear in our lifetime during the summer months. On this trip, I decided I would focus my photography on the Arctic Ocean and work together with scientists to raise awareness of the changes.
