案例简介:Write a short summary of what happens in the film In documentary style we captured the public watching a real, live opioid detox. As Rebekkah, a 26-year-old opioid addict, narrates we watch her detox live via an LED screen cube built to replicate her detox room. We learn she was prescribed opioids for a sports injury, then quickly developed a habit. The film continues through her painful 5 day opioid detox and the emotional reaction it elicits as passersby in NYC watch her journey. Explain how the work innovatively used the film medium. Treatment Box aimed to prevent opioid use by creating an immersive, public experience that put people inside a real detox room. Using an LED screen box, we replicated the exact dimensions of the real treatment room of one brave person going through treatment for opioid addiction: Rebekkah. We used an industry first live composite technique that placed realtime video of passersby into the LED screens giving the illusion that the room had no walls – and making viewers feel like part of the experience. The result was real people connecting with and reacting to Rebekkah’s journey, ultimately forming the backbone of our wider film campaign.
