    For more than 10 years, Garvalín has upheld a key principle: kids are kids. The brand has based its positioning on allowing kids to explore, imagine, and experience each stage of their childhood without being treated as miniature adults. Under this premise, Garvalín values creativity, spontaneity, freedom, and imagination in all its collections. This year, they take this philosophy to its highest expression with the launch of Unscripted, the first capsule collection of footwear entirely designed by children. Unscripted is more than just a collection of prototypes; it embodies a fundamental idea for Garvalín. If we believe that children are the best experts of their own world, then they should be the ones to decide what their ideal footwear would look like. This collection represents the brand's commitment to childhood, allowing ideas to flow without rules or limits. “With this innovative campaign for the children's footwear sector, we wanted to listen to the real experts: the kids. Their creativity doesn’t follow rules, and it never should”, says Garvalín’s creative team. “That's why Unscripted is not just a collection; it is a manifesto that champions the freedom, bravery, and creativity of children”. The creative process behind Unscripted To bring Unscripted to life, Garvalín assembled a very special team: seven children who participated in brainstorming, sketching, and conceptualization sessions alongside Eva Asensi, one of the brand’s footwear designers, and Pablo Torregrosa, an expert in childhood education. The result was the creation of three prototypes encapsulating children’s ideas and dreams: Voyager: Inspired by intergalactic travel and space exploration, this shoe is for children who dream of reaching for the stars. Wild: A model that blends the energy of the most impressive animals, allowing kids to run like a cheetah, jump like a kangaroo, or climb like a monkey. Playtime: Designed for the most anticipated moment of the day, recess. With these shoes, every moment turns into endless play. Part of this creative process was documented in a piece that shows how children’s ideas fueled this collection, from the initial sketches to the creation of the prototypes. Although, for now, these shoes are not wearable or purchasable, Garvalín intends to turn these prototypes into real, accessible models in the near future. Bringing imagination to life with augmented reality In addition to celebrating children’s creativity, Garvalín has integrated technology into this campaign with an innovative augmented reality feature. An immersive experience that allows you to discover the Unscripted collection in 3D from every angle by scanning the Garvalín shoebox with a mobile device, bringing imagination to life in a whole new way. A manifesto on childhood With this collection, Garvalín demonstrates that the best way to move forward is to let ideas flow without scripts or expectations. Today, the Unscripted models are just prototypes, but tomorrow they could become much more.
