Mary was passionate about providing quality education to young Black girls, and in 1904, she would open the Daytona Education and Industrial Training School. James would be among the first to provide funding for her school, and this funding would enable the school to develop and prosper, eventually becoming Bethune-Cookman University. Mary would later co-found the @UNCF in 1944 where P&G would be among the first companies to come onboard with support. We continue to partner closely with the @UNCF.
