案例简介:Our challenge was to promote the MEXX BLACK Fragrances from P&G Philosophy/Solution The MEXX Black Fragrance are marketed using the strap line "Black is Smart. Black is Sexy." We added a little twist and developed MEXX "Sexy meets Smart". MEXX "Sexy meets Smart" is a video application tool that allows people to hook themselves up with their friends and sits on mexxattracts.com By simply uploading his/her pictures and answering the 6 compatibility test questions, they were in for a big surprise: A video based on the answers of the test. There are 4 separate videos with varying degrees of the matchmaking results. From Perfect to Perfectly disastrous. Consistently funny the videos visualise a potential date with the uploaded photographs masked onto actors in pre-shot videos. With the ease to connect to facebook, users could easily access their photographs and that of their friends and share video results with one another. They were also given the option to change the ending if they didn't like it. Results This campaign sparked off a phenomenal response specially with the aid and integration with facebook. The word of mouth resulted in more than 12,000 videos being created in the first 2 months of the site going live! The success of the English version of the site saw the concept being rolled out in 5 other languages including German and Russian.
