案例简介：Menstruation is still largely a social and cultural taboo across the globe. Although menstruation is a normal, healthy part of life for menstruators, stigmas abound. The Case Fore Her want to change the way the world thinks about menstruation issues and undo the social stigmas surrounding them. The stigma on periods and practices of ostracising menstruators are still upheld in many parts of the world, shaming and sometimes even excluding them from taking part in everyday life in many ways: banned from places, having restricted access to everyday activities, silenced without being able to talk about menstruation freely, and speaking in terms that don’t relate to how their own body works (menstruators who identify as male or non-gender binary are being completely left out of the period conversation). Make sure menstruators are allowed into any space they want to be, because if we just empower them, it would be really difficult for them to bring the much-needed change if there isn't an environment where they can do that. To create that environment, we are going to recuperate and take over places, words and activities they have been put apart from, one-by-one and proclaiming them theirs by...PAINTING THE TOWN RED.
