Directed by and featuring Garth Davis, the spot imagines the limitless potential of Davis’ vision, as realized through the new 4K Ultra High Definition TV. The commercial, shot on location in New Zealand with the Sony Cine-Alta F65 and F55 professional 4K cameras, harnesses the power of the Sony 4K Ultra HD TV to bring colour and imagination to life.Additionally, the spaceship is the largest asset ever created for TV. With a team of five highly skilled industry professionals, the ship was built in real world scale—1 billion bits—and rivals the size of many individual assets for features.
