BBDO Dublin announced today the release of new work developed for EBS. The campaign was designed to dramatise one of EBS’s key benefits: at EBS you get a dedicated mortgage advisor throughout the mortgage journey. The work—which will run across TV, radio, social, digital and out-of-home—focusses on the simple fact that you get a mortgage person who looks after you throughout the process with EBS. Written and art-directed by Eoin Conlon and Robert Boyle, and directed by Chris Balmond at Antidote, the TV features Aoife and Sean, two first time buyers who are presented with a carousel of different bank employees, and end up viewing more mortgage advisors than homes…until they visit EBS. Said Pauline Carmody, Senior Marketing Manager at AIB: “EBS’ USP has always been its people. Feedback from EBS customers is almost always in praise of the specific EBS Mortgage Person who supported them through every twist and turn of their homebuying journey. That’s why this campaign celebrates the personal service that EBS people provide to every customer, every day.” Robert Boyle, Head of Art at BBDO added: “When you begin the mortgage process as a first-time buyer, you aren't aware that most banks will pass you from person to person, turning an already daunting process into a stressful ordeal. However, with EBS you have a mortgage person in your corner the whole way through. We wanted to bring this unique benefit to life in a funny and memorable way. So, we worked with Chris Balmond, who helped us get there using a healthy dose of hyperbole, a brilliant cast of characters, and a small bucket of body paint.” The campaign breaks week commencing Monday 14th August.
