These fjords take up just a small corner of the Northeast Greenland National Park, the world’s largest national park (one national marine monument exceeds its size). Much remains unknown about the ecology, oceanography, and geology of this part of Greenland. Last September, I joined a group of scientists from Denmark's Aarhus University as they deployed a network of automated sensors capable of tracking changes on land and sea throughout the year.
