The smallest of more than half a dozen booby species, these birds are incredibly strong flyers, known for traveling nearly 100 miles (150 km) in search of food. Able to spot fish from the air, this species will hunt by plunging head-first into the water, sealing up their nostrils as they dive and wrapping their long wings around their body for a streamlined approach.
