案例简介：PERGO VS. EVERYTHING Pergo challenges wrestlers in high heels, a 9,000 pound elephant and a marching band to destroy its new floor, in the middle of Venice Beach. Pergo XP is twice as durable as ordinary laminate flooring, as proven by a super-boring industrial test. But can it withstand interesting challenges? Pergo searched the country for floor-torturing acts, then flew the best-slash-worst to the Mecca of weirdness – Venice Beach, CA – for a very odd, very public product demonstration on a stage made of Pergo. The result is PergoVs.com, where everyone from redneckriverdancers to pro wrestlers in high heels to breakdancers dressed head to toe in steel wool awkwardly attack the floor. “We wanted to stage a kind of tongue-in-cheek anti-talent show of crazy people trying to destroy our client’s product, live in front of a camera-phone-toting public,” said Noel Cottrell, CCO at Fitzgerald+CO. “Our client was very brave.” Other challengers include a middle school food fight featuring nacho cheese guns and guacamole bombs, a 9,000 pound elephant performing incredibly bad magic tricks, 70’s-style rollerskaters and an entire college marching band. The event was filmed by director Jeremy Konner at Partizan.
