Kiwis are known to put their own spin on words, mixing up vowels and leaving the rest of the world pretty confused, so it's no surprise that Santa struggles to decipher the New Zealand accent too.Host/Havas play on this preconception in a comic spot for Air New Zealand, directed by Alex Roberts through Finch, which shows an increasingly confused Father Christmas struggling to process the orders coming in from New Zealand - resulting in his elves producing an 'earplane'; a 'book of magic trucks' and even a 'biscuit-ball'. Thankfully, the airline's team are on hand to translate the orders and save the day.
