Much of her focus in that time has been studying how to successfully reintroduce small cat species that were orphaned at a young age by the illegal wildlife trade. Here Samantha is inspecting Keanu, a 1.5-year-old male ocelot that has a puncture wound on his left leg after several weeks of living successfully in the wild.
