案例简介：Photo by Stephen Alvarez @salvarezphoto / These 36,000-year-old images adorn the lower chamber of Chauvet Pont d'Arc cave in France. The Paleolithic artists used the undulations of the cave walls in an extremely sophisticated way. Moving through the space by flickering torchlight and seeing animals continually revealed must have been an incredible experience. Note the scratch marks on the wall. They were made by Ice Age cave bears that also used the cave to hibernate. Photographing the artwork in Chauvet on assignment for @natgeo led me to start the nonprofit @ancientartarchive.
