案例简介：The current Mayor of Chicago (who’s been in office since 1989) recently announced that he won’t be running for re-election. This has been huge news locally in Chicago as well as nationally, as the White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel has expressed interest in running, along with numerous other politicians. With all the talk of who’s in and who’s out of the race, Proximity decided to launch this campaign to help an aspiring politician get the marketing support needed to make a run for the city’s most coveted office. I’ve included a press release below that explains the initiative a bit more. Basically, whoever is Mayor of Chicago on Foursquare as of November 1, Proximity will provide marketing support to help them campaign for the real Mayor of Chicago.
