案例简介：We’re just going to let you have your moment...A bright star takes center stage photobombing the irregular Arp 263 galaxy in this @NASAHubble image. Located about 25 million light-years away in the constellation Leo, Arp 263 is believed to be formed from the merger of two galaxies. This image was captured using two of Hubble's instruments. Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3 was used to search for remnants of a colossal stellar explosion in Arp 263 that was detected just over a decade ago, and Hubble’s Advanced Camera for Surveys studied the galaxy as part of an effort to find promising observation targets for the @NASAWebb telescope. The two images were taken at different times, when Hubble was oriented in different ways—which is why the stellar photobomber (officially known as BD+17 2217) has two sets of diffraction spikes, rather than just one.Image description: An irregular galaxy that looks like a triangle-shaped patch of tiny stars. It is densest in the center and along one edge, growing faint out to the opposite corner. Several bright pink patches mark areas of star formation, and the galaxy's brightest stars are around these.
