Expanding by 90,000 sqft, The Strong National Museum of Play needed to attract attendance beyond local markets. Toronto is only a 3 hour drive from Rochester, NY with over 5 million cars crossing the border between the cities annually. 9 billboards featuring toys from the museum’s collection create an engaging “path to play” for families to follow from Toronto to their "best day ever" at the museum. Toys were chosen that were relevant to children today but also had a nostalgic tie to parents. The billboards are supported by a Waze campaign, programmatic TV, online video and social media.
