Fast-forward two years, and I was on my way to the Canadian subarctic with a commission from National Geographic to film that behavior. During the long journey to get to the location, I was nervous that I might have overpromised. However, the rumors turned out to be true. Had I come across the situation in this video before, a polar bear nervously watching wolves, I would have assumed the bear had nothing to be concerned about.
