I have been inside many beautiful glacier caves, but this one stands out for me because of the perched canal. Normally the water finds routes and channels down to the base of the glacier, where it lubricates the underside and speeds up the rate of movement. The beautiful canal in the Hintertux Glacier is present year-round and never seems to drain away.
