案例简介：Hey, I’m Orizema! 👋🏽 My name is pronounced OH-ree-SEH-mah, and I am a Visual Designer for IBM Software.As a first-generation Chicana, I graduated from my hometown’s university with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design shortly before landing at Big Blue. I spent my first six weeks in Austin, Texas, going through an early-career program now known as Patterns Getting Started before beginning at IBM’s Silicon Valley Lab.🤓 It’s now 4️⃣ years later and I’m still contributing to the product on which I began, Cloud Pak for Data! As a Visual Designer, it’s my job to understand our users’ mental models so that I can implement and build upon our awesome Carbon Design System Concepts like “workflow configurations” and “master data management”. It can be complex, but I love that I get the chance to continuously learn and grow!Design isn’t my only passion though. I love to participate in the IBM LGBTQ+, Familia, and Women’s communities whenever possible. Through them, I’ve organized and attended events, connected with IBMers all around the world, and mentored both local high schoolers and fellow IBMers 💛I go into the office a few days a week to use the gym, walk the trails, and monitor nest boxes like the one you can see in the photo! 🐣 Watching baby bluebirds, swallows, and flycatchers grow up is just magical ✨ Beyond my career, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and climbing indoors. 🧗🏽️
