Specialists will clean and restore the glass as other sections of the cathedral, including the roof and spire, are being rebuilt. For over a year, I've gained rare access to the iconic cathedral in partnership with the public entity set up to restore it: @rebatirnotredamedeparis. Piloting my drone under the vaults and soaring over the facade has given me a new level of appreciation for the architectural genius of this beloved 800-year-old monument.
