案例简介：Photo by Cristina Mittermeier @Mitty / I pushed away from our catamaran on snorkel and drifted alone in the current, hoping to get a glimpse of one of my favorite ocean creatures. After waiting patiently in the shallows for a time, a dark mass suddenly materialized through the layer of visibility and headed swiftly toward me. I cannot describe the jolt of excitement I felt! A group of eagle rays arrived in perfect formation on silent wings. As I gazed down at them, I felt as if I were gripped in a dream and for a moment I understood why a group of eagle rays is sometimes called a fever. This particular fever congregates around the sandy beaches of a remote corner in the Bahamas. Perhaps they are here for mating or maybe just to socialize. We might never know for sure, but for me this afternoon alone with the fever will forever be remembered as one of my most incredible wildlife encounters.
