案例简介：Photo by Cristina Mittermeier @Mitty / There are a few moments in my photography career that stand out above the rest: encounters when the barrier between photographer and animal drop like a curtain and a brief kinship is forged. When I looked into the eyes of this beautiful sea wolf, I recognized the weary calm of a fellow mother. Sure enough, a small pack of pups came bounding down to the river’s edge, where I had been hiding for days, and tumbled over one another. The mother wolf kept her eyes trained on mine. She seemed to be mulling something over, and then, to my amazement, she relaxed and turned to trot away, leaving her family under my supervision. I will never know for sure why she chose to trust me. Part of me wonders if perhaps she too recognized a fellow mom. No matter the reason, it was an unforgettable encounter and one of the greatest honors of my life.
