After the beloved star’s death, Studio Brussel worked with the Royal Observatory of Belgium to identify a constellation in the form of Bowie’s iconic thunderbolt. Then it invited fans to contribute to the station’s integrated platform. With the use of Google Sky, mourners said their goodbyes by attaching their favourite song and a personal note to one of the seven stars in the Bowie constellation. Stardust for Bowie became the most viral article in the global press.
