案例简介:
案例简介:Groovy 🏄️ Ganymede, one of Jupiter's moons, is the largest moon in our solar system, bigger than the planet Mercury. Ganymede is also the only moon known to have its own magnetic field, causing auroras at the poles, much like Earth. The textured landscape of Ganymede is on full display in this enhanced image taken by the @NASASolarSystem spacecraft Juno from just 645 miles (1,038 km) over the surface of the moon. Juno is still patrolling Jupiter's system, with recent flybys showing the grooved surface in detail, leading to theories that the terrain is possibly linked to tectonic faults.Using observations from both Juno and @NASAHubble, scientists speculate that beneath the thick icy shell of Ganymede, a gigantic saltwater ocean holds more water than on all of Earth's surface combined.Image description: The gray, grooved surface of Ganymede is partially obscured at the bottom of the image by shadow, which blends into black space that surrounds Jupiter's moon. Large and small craters also mark the surface.Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/SwRI/MSSS/Kalleheikki Kannisto © CC BY #NASA #Ganymede #Jupiter #Moon #SolarSystem #Ocean #JunoMission
