Gillette Venus is the first razor designed specifically for women. Venus' introduction nearly two decades ago transformed a harsh and masculine category into a completely feminine experience. Nonetheless, some Egyptian women have a misperception about shaving as a method of hair removal. The campaign's main objective is to demonstrate that Venus' razors deliver smooth skin conveniently every day, as opposed to the discomfort and difficulty of sweet, wax, as well as the chemicals in cream, which can all cause redness, pimples, and irritation. The campaign speaks to every Egyptian female consumer using other FHR methods, focusing on Gen Z. This is why we featured Mayan El Sayed, a Gen-Z celebrity, in a trendy jingle to satisfy the significant appeal of commercial jingles in Egypt. It was launched and scaled on ground, TV, and digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, and YouTube. The campaign's success has been strongly reflected in sales, with a remarkable spike. In only two months, Venus' main product (Venus Breeze) was sold out in all the branches and markets in Egypt.
