“火星之旅” VR 体验科学教育航天制造公司 Lockheed Martin 「Generation Beyond」计划的启动活动之一“The Field Trip to Mars”,让学生们在搭校车到美国科学与工程嘉年华的路上,体验惊喜的火星之旅。校车巴士的窗户安装了 4K 透明显示屏幕,将华盛顿特区的每条街道制作成火星表面显示于车窗上,校车每小时开 30 英里,窗外就显示每小时 30 英里的火星表面。“火星体验校车”的想法是洛歇马丁“超越世代”计划一部分,该公司希望通过别开生面的手法,引起学童对科学、科技、工程及数学的兴趣,继而投身科研行业。洛歇马丁主席休森表示,这一代学生很可能成为人类探索太空的先驱,他说:“我们的责任是启发及好好装备他们,为这趟旅程作好准备。”
