It wasn't the first time I've quarantined—I did it after my son was born last year. For some reason, I feel the same way I felt postpartum, since the context and the emotions are very similar. But confinement feels stronger and more overwhelming when someone imposes it on you. When we have freedom over our actions, and we decide to stay home, we still feel free. Not anymore. Deep down I see the quarantine a bit like new motherhood: emotions of loneliness, isolation, unanswered questions, anxiety, reflections, and illusions ... I'm trying to think of these as neutral feelings, not negative or positive ... just new. #coronavirus #covid19 #lockdown
