For the first time ever, the power supply of the #Berlin suburban train network was electrically controlled. The plant was one of the central points that converted the three-phase current of several large power plants into 30 kilovolts of direct current suitable for the railway network. From here, 17 remote-controlled rectifier works along the railway lines were manually controlled and monitored.Today, we’re innovating to make the global energy system #carbonneutral.
