案例简介：Photo by @laurakmorton / While documenting the culture surrounding Silicon Valley’s technology industry, I photographed this virtual reality–focused happy hour event at an office in San Francisco in the summer of 2015. At one moment, speeches had started in the other room and everyone turned to watch except one individual, who was trying on one of the virtual reality devices on display and was so immersed in the experience that she didn’t notice at first. I’ve been thinking recently about virtual reality and wondering what creative innovations might come out of this time when physical travel is restricted in many places around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
