案例简介:BACKGROUND Responding to climate change is an urgent issue, and the withdrawal from the Paris Agreement by the world’s number one major power, the United States of America, is an indication that improvements towards the climate change issue are not looking good. On the other side, the younger generation, which will be facing this problem in the near future, is raising their voices about this problem and have started taking action towards a solution. EXECUTION The words of children can be so perceptive that they move adults to take action. Believing in the power of children’s words, we launched new signature gathering efforts against climate change. We collected the voices of children from around the world into a single message and put it in newspapers, magazines, billboards, and media content. People could directly add their signature wherever they saw this message, and we encouraged the participation of the younger generation and major environmental organizations. RESULTS With the resonance of the large number of young people who want to protect the future of our planet, we shared the project with the world by sharing media featuring the children who participated. As a result, we gathered and obtained 30,000 signatures from around the world and achieved 90+M impressions in one week. We have also received endorsement comments from major environmental organizations such as Greenpeace and Conservation International, and we have contributed to cooperative efforts in various places.
