案例简介：Photo by Pete McBride @pedromcbride Wildfires are springing up all across the western United States—including one near where I live in Colorado that's currently taking up about 25,000 acres and has shut down a 24-mile stretch of I-70, and is 0% contained due to the rugged terrain.Two years ago, I saw this DC-10 air tanker—one of four currently in operation—drop its vibrant red fire retardant as it battled a wildfire in my hometown, which I photographed from my front door as I evacuated. The fire raging now is 20 miles north of my town, and I'm once again so grateful for the hundreds of fire personnel working relentlessly to protect these places. As conditions continue to get hotter and drier across the Southwest, fires like this are becoming more frequent and more severe. #wildfire #fire #nature #smoke #firefighters
