案例简介：The HTC 8X showcases the beauty of the Windows Phone 8 operating system using a simple form that works in harmony with its user interface. Its modern design also allows for personal customisation with interchangeable colours catering for a diverse audience. Delivering a design that interacts seamlessly with the phone’s hardware was our project’s main challenge. Components had to be reengineered to fit inside the sleek body, while the processor, battery and PCB also had to be stacked in an innovative layout, creating an arched back that fits elegantly into the hand. The 8X’s iconic beauty comes from a fusing of design and engineering, resulting in a phone that captures the essence of the Windows Phone experience. The HTC 8S is a Windows smartphone that does not compromise beauty for quality, despite it’s competitive pricing. The design team set out to create a smartphone that embodies the HTC’s unique on-screen experience. Our goal was to create a phone that presents the simplicity of the product’s features, while allowing it to stand out in an oversaturated market. We strived to combine the colorful vibrancy of Windows Tiles, without it appearing garish and cheap.
