    案例简介:“I am committed to radically imagining the possibilities of what transformative, soulful and decolonized education can look like,” says founder and director of the Free Black University (@freeblackuni) Melz Owusu (@melzdot).“The Free Black Uni is about more than just a Black education. It’s about holding this idea that the world can actually change. I am channeling and learning from Black people in history who have done work that changed the passage of time. Their thoughts were seen as inconceivable. They were seen as radical. They were seen by so many as wrong, but they still pushed ahead.Being nonbinary and trans, I can see the ways the world has failed us all and recognize that I can change anything. It’s helped me push beyond every boundary and every limited possibility that I thought existed. I explain my gender as I’m in the constant creation of it every single day. In the same way, I’m in a constant creation of the world around me every single day.Impossibility is such an important aspect of my work. Radical possibilities are possible, and we don’t just have to fix this little pot of racism. We don’t have to fix this little part of classism or this little part of transphobia.
