    案例简介:Happy 100th Birthday to the father of American Pop Art, Roy Lichtenstein! 🎂🎉 On what would have been his 100th birthday, we pay tribute to the genius behind the Ben-Day dots, comic-inspired art, and the 3rd edition of the #BMWArtCar. Lichtenstein was a trailblazing artist to the Pop Art movement in the 1950s and 1960s. Remembered for incorporating comic book imagery into traditional art, he challenged the fine art world with his style, clashing parody with documentary in his signature style. His technique involved meticulous hand-painted dots and lines, which he used when collaborating with BMW in 1977 for designing his Art Car. Lichtenstein’s Art Car has remained one of the most popular ones to date. After he completed his version for the 1977 #320i, it premiered twice - as a work of art at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and as a racing car in the 24-hour race at Le Mans in June 1977. The car was driven by Hervé Poulain and Marcel Mignot from France, achieved ninth place in the overall rating, and finished first in its class. “I wanted to use painted lines as a road, pointing the way for the car. The design also shows the scenery as it passes by.
