My answer is the same: “Of what?” “That the cat is going to attack you!?”Here in Texas last night, I sat outside on the patio. I heard him float through the twigs as he plodded through the bushes. Chirpy, as I call him, emerged 15 feet in front of me. He threw me a sideways glance and crossed the tiles. He drank from the water bowl, licked his paws, laid down next to my gear, and fell asleep for 25 minutes. After which he stretched, drank, peed, and walked off..I’m not scared of bobcats. I have spent hours listening, watching, feeling, seeing bobcats. I have been inches from kittens. I have been growled at. Warned. But never attacked. Yes, bobcats can attack. But it's safer for them to run, so that's mostly what they do.Allow your heart to beat faster if you cross paths with a bobcat. Let your fingers tingle and your eyes widen. Watch and learn. Force fear to the back burner; welcome curiosity and wonder. Teach this to your children, and the world will be a better place and the animals safer for it. #bobcats #catsofig #wildlife
